Local events in June launch with the Frome Carnival Fun Day for the kids on Saturday 1st June, complete with fun fair, train rides, music, food, loads of stalls with games and interesting things to buy, plus a Dog Show to showcase some amazingly talented pets! Frome Independent Market follows on Sunday 2nd June, filling the streets of Frome with quirky pop-up shops, stalls and street food with local entertainment for all the family to enjoy.
Mid June sees the neighbouring village of Nunney playing host to the Nunney International Horse Trials, Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June. The event promises three days of world class cross country eventing accompanied a range of trade stands, food stalls and crafts to entertain.
The highlight of the month is the Frome Children’s Festival on Sunday 23rd June. Held at The Cheese and Grain through to Welshmill Park in Frome, this free event is a celebration of childhood and a wonderful community party! Join in the wealth of events from forest skills, circus skills, arts & crafts, science, graffiti, music and dance. No need to book, just turn up and join in.
