Wednesday the 1st sees the return of Liam Scarlett's Swan Lake, a traditional performance enhanced with new choreography and modern designs that bring a fresh feel to this timeless script. Tri.Art's 2020 Dancing Through the Ages production on Sunday 5th April features 250 Frome students showcasing the evolution of dance through the ages from the Renaissance period to modern day Contemporary and Street styles. Guaranteed to have the audience dancing in their seats.

The Easter fun begins with that Somerset legend The Wuzels in concert at the Cheese & Grain in Frome on Friday 10th April, entertaining the family with their notorious "Scrumpy n' Western" songs and updated Hip Hop versions of some very old classics.

Also during the Easter Holiday families can enjoy a host of drop in events at the Somerset Rural Museum near Glastonbury just off the A361. Kids can take part in some seasonal art and craft activities, get a chance to meet the visiting donkeys on Donkey Day and hunt for Easter Eggs in the orchard. On the other side of Frome, Hope Nature Centre near Trowbridge are holding an Easter Sunday Funday on Sunday 12th April, complete with bouncy castle, giant games and a host of animals to adore.

No Easter would be complete though without a visit to Longleat Safari Park, where kids can roam the park looking for Easter Eggs and enjoy the wealth of animal attractions that never fail to delight. Discounted tickets available with all Lighthouse reservations.
