#FamilyFuninFebruary

"If you are wanting to get some February fresh air then head off to Dyrham Park and enjoy one of their guided tours through the Deer Park, where you can get a glimpse of the deer, appreciate the ancient trees and beautiful views on the way. Tours run until the 23rd February with details on their website.

Those who delight in old country houses, this is the perfect time to see behind closed doors in the National Trust property of Stourhead, with guided tours from Monday to Friday throughout the month. The tour covers four floors via a range of staircases giving the visitor a unique insight into what goes on behind the scenes.

The award winning Zenith Youth Theatre Company is presenting the classic tale of Pinocchio at the Kingswood Theatre in Bath. Kids will love this magical musical tale of how Geppetto's little wooden toy is given a new lease of life.

More half term fun can be had at Colderton Rare Breeds Farm near Salisbury, where visitors are welcome to Walk an Alpacca through acres of beautiful farmland and countryside. Accompanied by an experienced Alpacca handler this provides an opportunity to find out more about these amazing animals and where they come from.

And of course, Longleat Safari Park is open, and as always discounted tickets are available from The Lighthouse when you reserve a room with us."
