Updated: Jan 7, 2019

If you are looking for things to do post Christmas why not venture out to Somerset and enjoy some prime entertainment at The Cheese and Grain in Frome. Hosting a variety of popular tribute bands alongside some favourite legends, the season starts with the flamboyant "T-Rextesy", Friday 18th January and "From The Jam - All Mod Cons” tour on Saturday 20th January, followed by “A Whole Lotta Led" Saturday 2nd February and the “ Osmonds" on Saturday 23rd February - something for everyone.

The Merlin Theatre opens its season with some comedy highlights such as Zoe Lyons ~ "Entry Level Human", Friday 1st February, while the Frome Memorial Theatre is hosting an "Abba Forever” show on Saturday the 2nd.

For those with an interest in the Arts, Frome and the surrounding area have a range of exhibitions and artist’s studios to explore. The Black Swan in Frome itself is hosting two exhibitions of note in January and February, with artists Eleanor Barlett and her exhibition “Matter” starting Tuesday January 5th and "Peter Hayes Ceramics" beginning Saturday 16th February.

Other local artists’ studios of note are 'Fisherton Mill' in Salisbury, plus 'Made in Bradford on Avon' and the 'Tithe Barn Workshops’ both in the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon.
